Volcane Spins: a puzzle that earns its calm reputation

I picked up Volcane Spins expecting to delete it after ten minutes. Match games are a dime a dozen and most of them recycle the same swap-two-tiles idea. This one does something different, and that small twist is what made me keep playing on my commute all week.

Instead of swapping neighbors, you rotate a group of four tiles at once. It sounds minor, but it completely changes how you scan the board. My one tip: don't rush the early chapters. The game teaches its rotation logic slowly, and once the cracked tiles show up around chapter four you'll be glad you internalized the basics. Volcane Spins won't change your life, but it's a genuinely smart, calming puzzle that deserves a spot on your phone.
