Iron Frontier

Iron Frontier is a slow-burn strategy game where you manage a small settlement fighting the cold. You balance heat, food, and workers while expanding outward, and every winter storm forces you to rethink your layout. It's the kind of game that rewards patience over reflexes.

We appreciated that the whole campaign runs offline. There's a proper single-player scenario with escalating difficulty, and the AI events keep things tense without feeling unfair. Pausing to plan is encouraged, which suits phone play — you can stop mid-thought and pick up later.

It's not a fast game, so if you want instant action, look elsewhere. But for a strategy fan who wants something meaty for a long trip, it's excellent.
