Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is a mood piece as much as a game. You explore an abandoned town by tapping to move and interact, solving environmental puzzles and slowly piecing together what happened here. The pacing is deliberate and the atmosphere does a lot of the heavy lifting.

Puzzles are logical rather than obscure — you rarely get stuck for the wrong reasons, and the hint system is gentle when you do. The entire adventure is offline and took us around six hours to finish. It saves automatically at each new area.

This is one for players who like being left alone to think. If you enjoy exploration and a bit of melancholy, it's an easy recommendation.
